HGLC Summer Public Service Fellowships 2005The Harvard Gay & Lesbian Caucus Announces the HGLC Public Service Fellowships 2005.

Who is Eligible: Anyone who is a current full-time student of any school of Harvard University. Terms of the Award: Each fellowship is a one-time grant of $5,000 made to an individual to educate, organize or otherwise benefit the GLBT community during the summer of 2005. Work can be independent or within an existing nonprofit organization (see below). Thesis research projects will not be funded. Partisan campaign activity may not be eligible. How to Apply: Submit one (1) original and three (3) collated copies of the following materials:
Deadline: All materials must be received no later than Monday, March 28, 2005. Please send them to:
Award Notification: Winner will be notified by the end of April. Winner will be required to submit a final report to HGLC by October 15, 2005, including a letter from an organization or individual benefited by the winner's efforts. In addition, the winner may be asked to attend one HGLC Board meeting and one local HGLC meeting in the fall of 2005. Projects funded in past competitions
Existing fundable projects from selected nonprofit organizations As noted above, an applicant may receive funding for a devised project or one already arranged by an organization whose purpose is to aid and support the GLBT community. We have provided a selected list of such organizations and relevant projects that may be of interest to potential applicants.
